If Telefonica is for South America can we get it in North America and what sat. is it on?

That's exactly what I was wondering. Especially since some of us are (in Caribbean and Central America) are closer to S America than N America and already using a 6' dish.
Are there any english speaking channels on Telefonica?
I'll have to practice up on my Habla!

Yes there is many speaking channels, pl boy is also there (actually don't need any language to understand this channel) CNN international, Movie channels and even 1 PPV channel and other Spanglish channels.

I would still like to know if we can get it in north America and what sat. is it I know it isn't echo 8.10

Been there done that it's only for latin america don't use it in the lower 48 or North
America. trust me!

What about Caribbean? ...with a 6 ft dish. Does anyone have coordinates. I'll give it a shot. I've got nothing better to do.
I'd happily suffer with a network channel or 2 with rabbit ears, but I've got nada!

google sat finder. it should take you too a website. see if that can help

Thanks. That does help...But I don't know what satellite Telefonica was on.

Go to dishpointer. It will show you google maps, find your home and then on the upper part of the map you will see a tap, check Amazonas 61.0 W and the map will draw a green line where you are supposed to aim your dish. Good luck.
