Telefonica

Hi im new here, i just wanted to give some info. Im in Aruba and we get Amazonas (Telefonica) just fine. Its at 61.0W . Right now im having problems they are all black, the 0628 bin for my VS2000 ultra stopped working. I dont know if its only me or everybody. Waiting for a bin update for July. hope this helped.

Haven't been home in daylight hours yet. Work sucks.

I've been trying, with no success but am told I have the wrong LNB!
I will hopefully receive "universal LNB" tomorrow and brushing up on my Espanol!

No, unfortunately I didn't get any.
With 6 ft dish and cheap universal LNB, I found the satellite, but quality too poor to get a picture, and even too weak to download the channel list.
I have a friends here with same dishes and exact same result.
1 guy is reporting he is getting some at 40% quality with an 8ft dish.

Being that the signal footprint is in South America you would need a big dish to pick it up, if at all.

Remember , Telefonica is a provider to South America and uses Amazonas satellite to carry its signal.

i am located in the Caribbean and I'm getting 61w with a 5ft dish using a linear (ku-band) lnb. I'm close to Cuba. i must say though it was extremely hard to catch. for me it was between 2 sat like centimeters apart. I'm like at Q=40%
