Need help finding channels

Today I got good advice to A problem I had. Was told to do A factory default, then auto scan. I got my channels back, but can't figure out how to get local channels. Also the only channel my wife cares about " GAC" is missing! please help.

The auto scan, only scan the TP that is the TP list, but the blind scan will scan the whole satellite from the lower freq all to high Freq.

find out what transponder the locals are on and just scan the transponder
