Viewsat 9000HD Problem in getting Dish HD channels

Hi I am using Viewsat 9000HD with 8PSK module and I have also tried illuminated PSK module. Whenever I tried to turn ON my external tuner in Menu. I lost my satellite signal. I am totally stumped…don’t know what to do now… Any help/suggestions are really appreciated.
