Hi, i'm having problem loading the new file with my new Ultra 2 GB USB Flash Memory, i was loading my Ultra with a Kingston 1 GB and i have no problem, but i dont have it anymore, i'm about to change the memory at the store, i dont know if this is a program, usb or viewsat box problem, i;m also loading a Viewsat factory file and doesnt detect the usb also, please if anyone can help me solve this problem, thanks in advance !!!

most usb comes with a program attach to it, some usbs has a problems with receivers, because of program attach to usb,, u need to format usb, then load your file , then boot up receiver with usb, should recognize then

Did you format your new usb memory? Has to be formatted to FAT 32.

yes i already did, but it says USB inisiating something, like that, but when i go to Menu-system information-reciver upgrade-USB and when i press ok, the screen makes a little flash but doesnt open the window where you can select the program, i make a factory restore and nothing happens :-( please help me with this. thanks for your answers !!!

I'm not sure I understand. Were you able to format your memory stick? If not, right click, find stick, format. When done there shouldn't be anything left on it. Extract Ultra bin, drag and drop to stick. Turn off stb from back. Insert stick. Turn on stb from back. Wait a few min. Then turn on from front (stick still installed). Wait for stb to see stick. Menu, System info, Receiver Update, USB, you should see a pgm file. If not then it's not on your stick. Copy and paste, or drag and drop it again from your computer to your stick and try again.
