Here's a little more info buddy. See if you can use any of this. Good luck and let us know what happens.

"Menu", "Installation", the password is 3570 or 0937 or 0000, "Antenna Setup" then side arrow to ECHOSTAR 7=119W.
Then do the same for ECHOSTAR 8,10=110W, and NIMIQ 1,3=91.0W.

EchoStar 7=119W
LNB Power ON
LNB Type Standard
LNB Freq. 11250
22kHz OFF
TP Freq. 12239
Search Option ALL
DiSEqC 1.0 Port 1 (This should match the cable on your switch.)
Motor OFF
Legacy SW NONE

EchoStar 8,10=110W
LNB Power ON
LNB Type Standard (Dish Pro change to OCS-DP)
LNB Freq. 11250
22kHz OFF
TP Freq. 12239
Search Option ALL
DiSEqC 1.0 Port 2 (This should match the cable on your switch.)
Motor OFF
Legacy SW NONE

(If you only have 1 LNB your DiSEqC should read "NONE" OR "OFF")

NIMIQ 1,3=91.0W
LNB Power On
LNB Type Standard (Dish Pro change to OCS-DP)
LNB Freq. 11250
22kHz OFF
TP Freq. 12224 (or one that is close)
DiSEqC 1.0 Port 3 or 4 (This should match the cable on your switch.)
Motor OFF
Legacy SW NONE

Thanks for the input. I will keep that in mind and research DP DP+. If I have to get a new lnb I'll just get a 500 or 1000 series dsh.

I will move it to get a higher signal in a few hours. I notice I have a bit of a time zone difference from you all.

JD717= Thanks I willl try it soon as I get home from work.

ok I am home, i have tried all of those settings. I don't understand why it isn't working. I went into channel scan instead of autoscan and selected the edit Tp all frequencies listed for EchoStar 10,11 have signal and quality in the 80's...

Do i need to download anything besides the latest bin¿ Do i have to also download a factory file or whatever? When I go into channel list there are 0 channels and 0 Sats. I went into EPG settings and can't find a guide.

EPG Settings

Select Receive Guide = All
EPG Days = 3
EPG Time Length = 2 Hours
Guide Lines = 7
Reservation Notice = Off
EPG TP = Eefault N: Default
Standby EPG Download = 8:00 am

Channel Search EchoStar 10,11
TV Total Music Total
0 0

Total 29 Freq. S/R Pol FEC
Processing x x 20000 V 5/6 locked

is autoroll the same as autoscan, i guess i can look that up I have read it somewhere. So first I would need to reset to factory defaults and then load that up?

or do I have to restore to factory defaults, load factory file, and then load latest bin?

sorry and thanks.

factory default only that erases all sats and channels than load the newest file and rest all ur ant settings and rescan your sats

u dont need to load a factory file

autoroll is when the keys are rolling to the right keys

autoscan is scanning your sats automatcic

dont worry bro we wont give up on u just takes time

we will be here for anyone who needs help and you are learing more as u go thru this

Thanks Lyncher I will begin that process now. I appreciate you keeping in touch and not giving up. I hope it was just the bin giving me problems. If not I have a dish 500 lined up for tomorrow! Thanks again to all you guys. I will keep you posted. Hope to be running by Sat. I would hate to miss Lesner.

~Set back to Factory Defaults~ >Receiver Upgrade>All Information
Process 000%
I don't think I hit All info last time, I think I only hit USB. That may be the reason I didn't get any channels. Hopefully I can get something going from this. I'll have to find the autoroll function again.

ok scratch that, the process % never went up so I went back to usb. It said do not power off. The bar filled on the screen and now I have snow on the television. The numbers on the front of the box are counting up one-by-one slowly. 1 every minute or two...hmm ok.

Waited till it got to 1.16 and now im doing an auto channel scan.

R u using the DTV LNB? I tried to use one with my Ultra Lite and could only get 1 sat. Even though it looks or maybe is a duel LNB I could only get 1 sat. I think it was 110. What I did was took down DTV dish and mounted a 18" dish with a bracket that holds 2 DTV single LNB. Used a portable TV and Ultra Lite receiver (at the dish) and located my sats (110,119). Mounted my DisEqc switch near my sat and used one of DTV's cable into the house. If you can do that then you KNOW you have 110 and 119. Then it's just setting up your receiver. Let us know what's next. Good luck.

Yeah I am using a DTV lnb. i have made some progress. I was baout to hit the sack and decided to scan all the sats i got a signal on, including 110 119. I am picking up channels from Anik F3. I'm tired so I'm crashing out. I'll research it tomorrow. I'm probably pointing out in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for all the help keep it coming. I do have someone bringing over a dish 500 in the morning. I might mount it tomorrow and install my switch since I finally got some channels. good nite or good morning rather. 1:38 a.m. my time.

i think the important thing you need to watch is in the upper corner of the antenna setup screen, when you have locked onto a sat, it'll show what sat you locked on to..this MUST match what sat your looking for..for instance, if your looking for 119 echo 7 and your moving your dish and you hit something as your moving it and the signal and quality start to go up, look in the corner of the screen and make sure it says echo 7 119..if it doesn't, keep moving the dish. and by the way, i use an old dave dish and lnb for 61.5 and it works fine..like stated above--if you can take a rcvr and small tv out with you, it's a HUGE help..once you know you've hit 119, it's all in the settings from there..and since the default transponder for 119 is a spotbeam, try using 12239 when tuning 119 in..
