n3 & bev

With so many channels moving over to N3, how will we be able to get them back in the future? Do we have to put up another dish or will we be able to receive it with current hardware, just need new software? If anyone knows the answer please respond.

Get them back in the future is the big question? No one knows. Don't waste you money on another dish it's all = everything going to Nagra 3 over the next month or so. No fix in sight as of yet.

Thanks, but will this move require a software update to pick up N3?

Currently there is no fix for Nag3 and nothing will be released until DN goes over completely. Bev will be dark until then because if a fix was to be released now they can counter it. The best thing would be to reaim at DN. If you can't do that it is time to buy a sub. Be prepared for a long time without any new fix. The last time when they went to Nag2 it was down for over two months.

it would require re-aiming your dish to a dn sat..if you are using 81/92, you would want to turn your dish to 119/110..
