How do you have the receiver connected to the tv? By coax to the antenna in or by AV cables ( the one with the red, white and yellow connectors)?
If you are running it to the antenna input on the TV make sure your tv is set to Ch 3 or 4 as per the switch on the back of your receiver. Explain how you went to change the RF number - where in the menu?

Oops, don't think the Ultra Lite has a switch on the back for channel output. In which case your best bet would be to reload the factory file and start fresh.

Thanks Satman,
Right you are it doesnt carry the RF switch on the rear panel as other receivers do. I was able to get it back. Stupid me my TV is locked on CH3 and so I could not get to change it to channel 4 which would enable me to see the receiver options. I however used another TV set on CH4 and was able to reset the receiver to the original ch3. This is how you change the RF settings: 1/ Menu 2/ User setting 3/ System settings 4/ RF Modulator It is defaulted at ch3 but you can change it to ch4 if you so desire. |
