Is anyone else not getting all the channels? I have a great signal and quaility but theres a hand full of channels not coming in like HBO, A&E. I noticed it Sat night. cuz the PPV Sport channel for the fight didnt come in. It said congratulations you have a dish 500????? If any one has a suggestions on what I can do please let me know, or let me know whats going on Thank You

This may seem like a pat answer, but have you tried rescanning? Sometimes things move around. Every once in awhile I dump all my channels and rescan. Have even had weird things like channel ok on extreme and autorolling on Ultra - reboot cleared that one.

Never be afraid to do factory reset and start from scratch. Doesn't take long and often cures a multitude of ills.

probably the best advice that nobody seems to want to follow! i know its a royal pain to do, but if you follow any of the daily changes and channel moves that dn does, you would see that channels move daily, transponders sometimes change daily, and new channels are added constantly..(mainly dma's)..a fresh scan every month is worthwhile..who knows, you may end up with channels you never even knew existed!

Since your post in this discussion is a week ago, you've likely solved your problem, but at the time of loading the last fix "29" I "lost" all of my Satellite 110 channels. I thought perhaps I had corrupted the file so I downloaded a couple more times and loaded a couple more times. Hardbooted, softbooted, swore, etc. Then I waited, thinking that after a few days there'd be another fix to solve my problem.. Nada.. So then I started looking at my hardware i.e. switch, lnb, damaged cable(s), etc. I began with the switch, purchased one of the better ones with slide open fittings and weatherproof design, replaced the old one, siliconed the blank connections. $20. and life is great. I rescanned, have my original 110's plus maybe a few more, and all-in-all a better picture on both 110 and 119.
btw after that I took the time to load the latest firmware update for the Viewsat Ultra, so now we'll see how long we go.

Guys for awhile we are all going to have to rescan with every new file! D/n and bev are changing channels all the time latley,its a pain but works.This also helps some with the freezing.Try it and see for yourselves,its worth the extra effert.

do a factory reset on your channels and then do a blind scan
