My question is when a sat. provider adds new channels to there programming do you have to scan the sat. again to recieve that channel. Example bev added tsn2 on channel 403 but i dont get that one on the guide. I run a viewsat ultra.

yes, you would need to rescan to get any channels that were added since your last scan. that is also one of the reasons its good to rescan your sats every once in a while.
