I have been testing a v/s pro for some time now I have never got the guide to work properly.The time is set right and surfing the channels I can get channel im on to eventually to show some info. But later on if i continue to watch that channel all the other channels info disappear.

I really would appreciate some help cause I can't really use the pvr function without the guide working. My set-up is really simple and below are my settings, thanks for any help.

you want your guide to fill in on your pro go to channel 239 sit on that channel for 10 mins and it will fill up for you.also if this doesn't work for you there is a option in the menu to download the epg.
if neither of this works i would suggest doing a factory reset with your remote and rescan your sats again and sit on channel 239 because the epg does fill in nice on the pro.

as does CNN channel 200 ...also fills your guide, but just set the menu to update the guide every morning and there won't be a need to fill your guide

your are correct that 200 cnn works also but the reason i said channel 239 because it is the expanded epg will get more days for him when he is using pvr.
