i installed a dish on sat 110 echo 7 and i can't get any information on the PPV channels and network channels it just says no information when u go on channel guide. its a viewsat ultra and 18" dish and i'm in toronto can anyone help

try going into your menu and bring up "user settings" scroll to "epg" and when in there click on okay, hope this helps, if not rescan channels on echostar 6,8

Do you have info on any other channels? I have info on my PPV channels.

HOW TO GET VIEWSAT EXTENDED PROGRAM GUIDE (EPG)


The two things that will cause the EPG to show "No Information" is "Time Zone" and "SAT Signal".

1. Incorrect time zone will not display the correct EPG.

2. SAT SIGNAL: Even if you are getting a good signal and good quality, but if the SAT signals are reverse,
for example, in ANTENNA SETUP, you selected EchoStar 6/10 110W, but it return at the top right and display
signal is EchoStar 7 119W, that means your switch port was set wrong, this will result with "No Information"
to display in EPG.

To fix the problem, you have to set the right switch port in the Antenna Configuation to the satellite that
you pointed.

3. CORRUPTED SAT INFO: This problem is only for Viewsat Platinum/Lite or Extreme. To fix problen, you can
reload the sat info file.


Once you check your set up and everything is correct, your EPG will populate as your watching TV, or go to
channel 200 (CNN USA) or channel 239 (Superstation WGN).

thanks man will check. i am getting info on movie channels and some odd ones but none on the PPV
