Just wanted to know if anyone has tried a usb adapter on a viewsat xtreme,and how did it work? Thanks for all replies!!

I have never heard of a receiver it didn't work on if it was set up right. I don't have a VS, but I use it on many different brands.

Thanks bojac! I have to find a way to load my vs other than null cable,my serial port on computer doesnt work. I read somewhere about the usb adapter,but now cant find it. Thanks again,now have to find an adapter!

Radio shack, any computer store should have them.
Remember, the adapter plugs into the pc, null cable plugs into the adapter, null to your rec.

Hey bass,I use a usb adapter on xtreme and it works great...purchased at computer
store...it was fairly cheap as I remember
