For some reason 110 shows up as ecostar 6/8 instead of 8/10.Anyone know how to fix this

You probably have an old factory file on your unit. Loading the latest factory file should change it.

Tried file VS2000 ULTRA Factory File - V0132 , did not work.Is there another file?

not sure what dish setup you are using but here are the settings for the 2 sats you mentioned. go into your menu and make sure the settings are what is posted here. if you are using a single lnb then just check the settings for that sat if you are using a dish 500 or dual lnb then use both settings

DISH 110
Sat Name: Echostar 8/10
Transponder: 12224
LNB Type: Standard (if using Legacy), OCS-DP (if using Dish Pro)
LNB Freq: 11250

DISH 119
Sat Name: Echostar 7
Transponder: 12239
LNB Type: Standard (if using Legacy), OCS-DP (if using Dish Pro)
LNB Freq: 11250

The DISH 119 is wright but on110 its saying Echostar 6/8 instead of 8/10,Im not sure how it happend because it was on 8/10,Then when I turned it on today my 8/10 channels wasent coming in so I checked in the setup menu,8/10 was gone replaced with 6/8 Oh and yes im using a dish 500 with Dpp lnb

6/8 will work as 8/10 just set your settings in your menu to those i posted above and then rescan the sats and you should be good to go bro

6.8 and 8.10 is the same it doesnt matter as long as u have a strong signal on sat 110

Hey guy's think we looking for a newer SatFile that would correct the numbers.

As Lyncher said it does not really matter but at times the newer SatFile helps with channel count also.

I would do a Factory Default... Load the Satinfo... again setup your satellite info... Scan your satellites
