Need Advice/Info....

Hi I have Viewsat Extreme, and will be buying the ultra.
I want to change the set up of my sat.
What would be the best way to receive all.. echostar 7,8,9?? and Nimiq 82, 91??
Would I require 5 LNBs, and an elliptical dish? or is there such thing as a Universal LLNB and dish that I can use.
Also which of the echostar receives all the asian/vietnamese/international channels.. is it echostar 9? my parents only watches the filipino and chinese channels.
any advice, help or info would be much appreciated.

110,119,118.7,91,82

1.Try this 33 dish setup for 110,119 and the fairly new 118.7 sat...see lyngsat.com for channels.

Attaching photos of 33 dish

2. For 82 and 91 you can use one elliptical dish with 2 lnbs to receive both. Again see lyngsat.com for channels

This was you only have to attach 2 sat dishes in order to receive both enlish and foreign channels.

PM me for info on where to get this 33 dish...I just got one and it took me about 1.5 hours to set up...works great...
I only needed one disecq switch for all 5 sats...

Yes...just run all your cables...110, 119/118 combo, 91, 82 into one disecq switch...and then set up your receiver as normal.

Remember that the 119/118 lnb is a special unit that is able to receive both sats with one lnb.

and remember that you need a 33 inch dish to receive sat location 118.

118° (Circular 10750) dual LNB

This is the LNB for the new 118°W (Anik F3 / 118.7° / 118.8°) satellite. With this special LNB, you can get BOTH 118 and 119 at the same time!

Works with both Free-to-Air and Original DN Receivers!

* Requires: 30-inch or larger dish
* Compatible with Dave, Free-to-Air (DiSEqC, 22KHz), and legacy switches (SW21, SW44, etc)
* Not compatible with DishPro switches and/or DishPro (stacked) LNB's

SPECS

* Polarization: Circular
* Input Frequency: 11.70 - 12.75 GHz
* LO Frequency: 10.750 GHz
* Noise: 0.3 dB

* Dual-output (ready for 1 or 2 receivers)

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

Using a 30-inch or larger dish, aim with the following settings:

* Satellite Name: 118°W (Anik F3) or 119°W (Echo7)
* LNB Type: Standard (or Single)
* LO Frequency: 10750 or 10600 MHz

Finally, do an AUTO SCAN or a BLIND SCAN

For some the following settings may work better or give you more channels:

* LNB Type: Universal
* LO Frequency: 9750 MHz
* HI Frequency: 11250 MHz
