How do I transfer the loader into my veiwsat platinum lite?

Loader does not go into your platinum. Loader 2 is downloaded to your computer and then you use the "Loader" to load the program/fix/file to your receiver thru the modem data cable that came with the receiver.

Once "Loader 2" is on your computer you just:

Toggle OFF your rear switch on your receiver and connect the date cable from your computer to the receiver/stb

1. Click on Loader 2
2. Click on Open Files
3. Select what you want to load to your receiver
4. Click on PC to STB
5. Toggle on the rear switch (to re-boot and update)

The fix will now be loading so you wait, wait and wait until you see 0000 or a channel number. Toggle OFF the rear switch again and disconnect the date cable. Toggle ON the switch and watch TV.

Note: If you are removing the receiver from the satellite cables to the computer area make sure you toggle off the rear switch first. If you are using a DisEQc switch you can blow the switch if the receiver is on. Any time you connect or dis-connect cables toggle off the switch.

Also:
Some receivers have USB ports that you put the fix/file/program onto a USB stick and load the fix to your receiver thru the stick.

can u help me plz my receivers have cerial cable and i dont have input in my computer so i bought a usb converter but i keep saying com port is not open what should i do
