Hulk Hogan will return to world of pro wrestling
World wrestling phenom and reality TV dad Hulk Hogan has announced his plans to return to the world of professional wrestling.
Hogan, who retired years ago from the profession, is set to join TNA Wrestling, the group responsible for the Spike TV series TNA Impact.
Hogan was once a member of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW), which eventually became World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Hogan seems enthusiastic about the move, saying he's "thrilled to be jumping back into the world of professional wrestling." Since his retirement, Hogan has been hounded by fans to return to the sport, however, "the timing or the opportunity has never been right until now."
Following his wrestling career, Hogan and his family became household names thanks in part to their hit VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best. The show was short-lived due to the bitter and public divorce of Hogan and his wife, Linda.
Both Hogan and TNA have not yet announced his role with the organization.
