The Ottawa Senators finally got the trade they wanted and got Milan Michalek and Jonathan Cheechoo from the San Jose Sharks for Dany Heatley.
I hate to admit it after last seasons meltdown, but yes, I am a Sharks fan and I am jazzed about this trade. I think Ottawa came out pretty good as Cheechoo had the most goals two seasons ago and Michalek is a strong consistant forward. Hopefully Heatley will help the Sharks get past the post season choking. Can't wait for the season to start and hopefully more channels to watch the games on by then.

I'm glad that drama is over and welcome Dany to the Western Conference. Expect Heatley to ask for a trade to whoever is contending for the cup at the trade deadline. LOL. Oh, and Go Jackets!

Heatly is a cancer anywhere he goes and that is why most teams did not want him.

Good trade for both teams I'd say.
