It looks like this rule will only effect foul balls & disputed homerun balls for now. Hopefully they will take the safe or out calls implemented as well next year, especially @ home plate. We just have to wait & see what Bud Selig has up his sleeve.

A definite no. Above any other sport baseball has embraced it's history and traditions. For some 130 years it has lived with the judgement of umpires to call the game as they see them. Sure they make mistakes but so what. To me part of the fun of the game is to watch a manager blow his top over a bad call and have it out with an umpire. Instant reply will take something away from the game and it will slow it down as well!
