All of the channels you listed are at 110W.

How many channels do you have?

How many are on 110W?
How many are on 119W?

Exclamation Available channels?

What ever happenned to SV's plan for providing plenty of stable and hopefully freezeless channels?

Where are the existing available channels?

I guess that I must have misinterpreted their announcements.

The 9 channels you listed previously are all coming from SAT 8 at 110W

CH SAT TP Freq
== == =====
121 8 12214
149 8 12368
151 8 12515
152 8 12881
307 8 12427
313 8 12427
314 8 12427
321 8 12515
323 8 12427

The number of channels scanned from each location (110W and 119W) varies at different locations. However, you should be getting more than 9channels.

How many channels (both FTA and CAS) are you finding on each SAT that you scanned?

Can you break it down?

For example:

SAT 110W number of FTA channels
SAT 110W number of CAS channels

SAT 119W number of FTA channels
SAT 119W number of CAS channels

Also, which LNB do you have? (i.e. linear vs circular DP, DPP)

Have you used the Dish and LNB with other STBs before?

I'm asking just to eliminate the possibility that your Dish settings on your SV STB might be incorrect.

CAS - Conditional Access System

Circular and Linear refer to the polarity or direction of the satellite signal.

For circular polarization the signal is transmitted from the satellite in a rotating fashion. Some TPs (transponders) transmit using Right-Hand (counter clockwise) while others use Left-Hand (clockwise) polarization. This translates into Horizontal and Vertical polarity for Linear Polarity TPs.

I'm not sure why you are having no signal on 105 thru 109. I do know that channels 105 thru 108 are on SAT 7 @ 119W and channel 109 is on SAT 8 @ 110W.

One thing to look for is to have Network Search "off" when you scan the Satellite or the TPs for channels. Having it set to "on", typically generates duplicate and missing channels.

If your LNB is a DishPro or DishProPlus LNB then either Standard or OCS-DP settings with an LNB Freq of 11250 should work correctly. That's assumming that the list of TP Frequencies, Symbol Rates and the FEC entires in Dish Settings are correct.

Have you verified that your list of TP's for each satellite is complete and correct?

I once had a problem where I couldn't edit or delete the incorrect TP entries. So I had to load a good channel list via the USB port.

The channel list contains Satellites, TPs and Channels information.
