I will be adding new ones to my stable over the coming weeks. Thanks to needinghelp for the heads up on the KBOX.
i have 4 diff iks boxes....i really think the i-link is best hands down...2nd would be kbox next...i do think sv will be first with stand alone

The promises will go on as long as they think they can continue to sell boxes. They may be new to iks but they have had plenty of time to get this right and they haven't. I got virtually no use out of my 360; but I moved on so that I wouldn't get ulcers. Just make sure never to recommend this company to anyone as I did and now have fewer friends than before because of these boxes. A standalone fix is supposed to be "imminent" so I think sv is trying to slide by without fixing these boxes and then try to sell their standalone boxes. Just don't fall for it, and let them slide off into the sunset. I know there will be those who will slam this post; but so be it, the truth is the truth. Good luck to all.

Guys First off there is no need for bashing one another..Second;this is a status update thread for the SV IHub and not a discussion thread where you can compare different brands/models..discussions of other receiver brands is in another brands forum section is considered to be disrespectful and not allowed.
If you wish to do a comparison please start a new thread in the "General Discussion" section of forums..
Thank you.

NOTE:If the above channels are not up on your iHub connected box you either have a configuration error, you have not waited up to 30 seconds for the channel, you may be experiencing freezing OR the iHub IKS server may be down.
If you are not connecting, verify you can ping your iHub's Local IP from your PC. Rebooting your Sonicview receiver with iHub dongle should help if you are having excessive freezing issues, unless the server is being worked on or is essentially down. The server is being worked on frequently as new channels are added to the system.

* This list is now automated by the hard work and careful examination by our team and updated regularly. Please report any inaccuracies to our team leaders.

All of the channels indicated above have been officially tested to be fully working and viewable channels when using the Sonicview iHub with your Sonicview 360 Elite, Premier or HD8000 FTA Satellite Receiver!
More channels to come soon.

NOTEon't shoot the messenger;just passing along what is posted at the support site for the IHub..

My question is how can I make the other receiver stick to the server IP. it keeps scramble. I have both on DHCP.
Wait....it just came back and the server Ip keep showing 0.0.0.0
I don't know how long will it stay. Any help here please, I don't want to keep changing the setting
Probably the reason you are getting 0.0.0.0 is that maybe you are trying to setup 2 device with the same ipaddress which you can not do if they are on the same lan. The only way you can do that is to clone the mac address or physical address to the other unit then you can make them both the same IP.

Now if I understand this guy from where ever he is from as he has really bad grammer so it makes it really hard to understand what he is getting at.
But I think I understand enough to help you guys out....you will first need to setup your unit to anyone of the list IP address that he has listed making sure to have your DNS turned off at that time....then once you get connected he wants you to at that time set your DNS to yes and apply the setting and you should have TV after a hard reboot. I hope this clearers up the confusion but if not I know that this site is really crazy when it comes to helping people so I don't know how I would be able to help you other then to maybe PM you if that is ok but if not the best of luck and I hope you can figure it all out. I laugh everytime I read this stuff as I don't have one of the IKS unit and I don't think I ever will....I figure if they never get a fix for the N3 thats ok I got my use out of my FTA so I have just moved on to a full subscription to DN and a 16.00 sub to netflix and then I have my movie downloads as well so I am pretty much set for everything.

If the management of this site would like to maybe explain how some of us could get together to help the majoraty of the user that seem to not have a clue on this IKS I think that would help a lot of people out to better understand this system and cut down on the same old message over and over about "hey I need help I am down are you down I don't understand why are you up but I am down I have no clue....this makes no sense....but if you had a little IT exp it would make all the sinse in the world to you.

oh well good luck gang and who ever is in charge let me know if there is a better way to help some of these people with there IT problems....I am offering my services for free but lets not get carried away with it.

create some kind of blog that would have the question and the answers that way you one source to refer to rather then a billion post.

Thanks

this is one of the most confused bunch of people I have ever seen....if a freaking joke. Why the hell don't one of you that knows all the info sit down and make a flow chart with the IP address the correct procedure to setup the said ip and so on other then going back and forth about not changing seting from this to that and so on. OMG this is so funny its just not funny.....get it together people....I am so glad I never bought one of these IKS units.

Oh and one more thing I would like to comment on as there is one message that keeps repeating itself over and over about the load issue and trying to beef up the server to accommadate everyone...thats a joke in itself as there is no way in hell there ever going to be able to make a server fast enough to handle all the people that are buying this IKS and setting them up......just tell the truth...unless you guys get more servers its only going to get worse and worse to the point that all you will see is freezing .................................................. .....................LOL

Latest update from IHub support site:

C/P
Some channels on the temporary solution had to be removed in order to maintain stability until the new solution is ready. It may be better to have fewer channels with less freezing for now rather than too many and too much freezing... The files floating around ARE NOT and SHOULD NOT be used by anyone. They were for temporary testing by authorized persons only and not for public use. All of us understand it is taking a very long time for a more stable solution to be put into place. Your patience is wearing thin and it is known by the coders. It is their hope and yours that a more stable solution is in place very soon. Unfortunately, no timeline can or will be given on the exact date of a new fix. Sonicview iHub is not going to come out as others like Viewsat folks saying this will be done on this day. Building and testing solutions take time. As always, we suggest in this hobby that you never tie yourself down to a single solution. Things with the iHub will improve, but if you cannot wait - no one is telling you to do so. The coders will not be rushed into releasing something that is not worthy of all their efforts thus far.
