Question Ihub wont connect problem

Ihub was working fine earlier today, now when I reboot box on my SV Elite, it says that the network doesn't connect, anyone know how I could solve this problem? It seems the box is not recognizing the connection of the ihub to the box. Internet is all good, just that the box wont show the connection of the ihub and doesn't list it under Installation. help thanks

The first thing I would try is to re-set the ihub:

Toggle OFF the receiver
UnPlug the ihub from the receiver and remove Ethernet Cable from the ihub
Toggle On the receiver (You will see no ..ipconfig)--Let it fully re-boot
Toggle OFF the receiver
Connect the ihub again
Toggle ON the receiver

In a bit hopefully you see the..ipconfig..
Again go in and verify the settings and..Apply..

I would once more toggle OFF the receiver and then ON (Re-boot)

Ok buddy try this:
1.Shot off your box.
2.Shot off your Ihub.
3.Shot off your router.
4.Shot off your modem.
Waite 16 seconds and turn back on starting by the modem, then router, then ihub, then your box.Check your IP address.you hould be ok

here is something to check. I noticed mine not working half the day either. this morning I decided to check the settings on everything. I noticed this morning that my ip configuration had changed. my port was set at 80 but I then noticed that the servers port was set to 80 as well. for some reason it had defaulted from the 1920. so I had to set my dhcp to static and change it. I just left it on static for ****s and giggles and its still working. started working right away, as soon as I hit apply to be honest. now dont get me wrong, I still have the freezing but I am watching something.

Same problem

I have got two ihub's and one had the same problem, I have tried all the options of reseting and nothing worked. I think my ihub was defective so I contacted the seller to which I purched it from and they said send it back and they would send me a replacement.

Thats sounds right, Thats what I had to do late friday night. a sysclean, factory load and then I scanned the birds last I loaded the Ihub and was back up. I ran into a problem when trying to setup the proxy server and Black Rock It took a little getting playing around to get it right, but I now feel a whole lot better about being connected to the internet for my FTA testing. it's not 100% safe but it dose do a pretty good job, I tested it from an out side locaton and it took some time to find my unit on the internet and I knew where it was so thats pretty good.
