i didnt try it on a Viewsat - these channels are working on my SS DCR 5500

5101 -- 7950
5102 -- 7951
5132 -- 7952
5133 -- 7956
5134

But others say to do this for VS

also some of those channels are spot beamed
so some wont get them depending on what area your in
