IF this was in fact posted by Cyphris....I've been around a long time well before FTA and have seen things change repeatedly and that is part of the game/or should I say "testing" lol that is spewed all the time. The attacks during n2 on another person we should all know is no different this time for VS/Cyphris, seen it before.

Anyhow, on paragraph 1 I believe that whomever posted the date/then changed it to imminent on the VS homepage or someone (Mod from the site) should come forward and tell us why the day? why imminent? why these posts were made? Information they received from whom?

This first off, out of respect for all VS end users and die hards whom are entrusting their faith in VS. I'm not saying they owe us/them anything as units have most definitely paid for themselves over the years.

What I think VS end users need (especially newbies) is to have some dang confidence in the splash page that is suppose to be indeed VS home site. It was obvious that many FTA sites felt that these posting's on home site were factual as many were saying "In anticipation of a N3 release the forums may be shut down at any time without notice...yada yada" so not only were end users duped but many mod's it seems at many sites. So this just isn't the end user whining/bi*ching. Someone needs to clean up the mess that VS home page made across the FTA community. Just my .02 cents on it.

The conspiracies spewed over the past 2 weeks is ridiculous
a) the site was taken over by insiders - to a newbie this is scary to read
B) the site posted to sell more units? Who in their right mind would run out and buy a unit on what was written on the splash page? I've heard newbies jumped on the band wagon and bought (I don't believe it) there may have been a few really NEW TO THE GAME to do so, but sure as heck didn't drum up 1,000's of sales if NEWBIES read more...so NEWBIES read-read-read and read some more and wait until you see someone post absolute PROOF that a fix is out and up and running, stop bin begging as you will not get an sympathy from anyone and if you were around for years, you learn to mind your P's and Q's. Trust me you'll know quickly enough IF it happens. Patience is the key, backup is the key, down time even IF/WHEN a fix comes is going to happen so be prepared, have a backup plan. PERIOD! whether you subscribe or choose an alternate method.

On the second paragraph of the infamous Cyphris post what exactly are we to read into that "There is however other things that will be seen in regards to N3 in the near future which do not involve the VS Coding Team as even Plastic Coders have made much progress. Till then use alternate methods as you see fit best for you to get your beloved TV"

1. What are possible "other things" new receiver, card fixes, slot being opened for a card what? Let the guessing begin LOL I wait with baited breath LOL

2. "beloved TV" I'm sorry isn't that why people buy VS units, I wouldn't call it "beloved TV" but when a VS home page splash makes a bold statement what is the FTA community to think. You can't fault the end users and Mod's at other sites who geared up for that, they had faith in what was posted at the supposed "trusted site" and the end user isn't responsible for the posts. I know I'm going to hear from others "well VS receivers still bring in FTA channels what their purpose was for -true FTA" great but truth is NO-ONE who owned one bought it for that purpose so I wish it wasn't spewed all the time to the newbies, it is insulting folks!

Anyhow, that is my rant. Been a member a long time and don't post much but felt this time I had to comment. Take it or leave it, but VS's homepage owes an explanation to the FTA community at large. Hope there is no bashing of my personal view of the current frustration VS owners and newbies are going through at this time. Thanks

I'm pretty new to the FTA world, but I got to say that I doubt I've met so many impatient people to be bored enough to make rumors...gosh we live in such a dramatic world...Rumors or not, why waste energy? It won't make anything go by faster. I had a very short experience with FTA only 3 months but I'm rather sitting patiently awaiting a fix as well. I take all of these as entertainment lol really, I always thought and saw women as full drama and gossips, but boy have I been wrong! I definitely feel how the coders are dealing with these times and it doesn't put them at ease either.

To add to the rumors...I read on another site yesterday that it could be right after holloween when we might get a fix. Yes it was in the rumor section on that site also.
