***official thread***

It seems that Superstar has finally broken his silence. Here is a c/p from him. I am sure that the mods can move this information once they verify its validity. Hopefully this will make some people feel better, at least about Bev's recent shutdown:

Please note that the Bev servers were removed for security and hardware issues.

As you may recall, the servers were cutting out often lately and there are many new hardware updates that are going on at the moment.

At the same time, there are many sites that have recently disappeared and nFusion felt it was a good time to go offline and complete what they are working on.

Digital Store has not updated anyone yet as there must be a good reason.

For security, many sites are removing nFusion and any iks capable receiver off there web site until they fine out what is going on.

This has nothing to do with nFusion but rather a fear that the sellers will be atacked by the big boys as they have nothing to stop nFusion right now expect fear.

nFusion is 100% a free to air receiver just like any other fta receiver but also has some advanced features such as the iPVR and weather update features.

Don't worry or you may want to worry that nFusion is so good that they are a main target but once the data are gathered, I am sure the sites will put them back up and the sales will be much more than they were ever.

I am also sorry it took so long for this statement but was also waiting for an update from Digital Store as well as some other stores but did not get any yet.

I will put it here for now, But at 8:25 pm 31 Mar an extreme reliable source watched the Digital store in Newmarket Ontario, as Ravin, (Digital) a male in a dark blue suit talked and appeared to be signing documents as two younger guys, disconnected several pieces of electronic equipment boxed them and then moved them into the vehicles a Budget rental cube van and a dark sedan at the rear of the store.

The Digital stores, (6 locations), all closed suddenly yesterday, and the nFusion server for B3V went black.

For those who don't know Ravin, (digital) is the Canadian distributor for nFusion and as also nFusion Canada.

There were also two other dealers "visited" yesterday in the Toronto area. Maxx Electronics and RTC Electronics. Again equipment was removed and the MAXX website now lists NO products available under the NEOsat, nFusion and Captain brands. These two dealers are affliated and their "raids" were for a different reason although MAXX was well known for selling nFusion clones.

This is NOT good news.

Also two well known forums have disappeared form the web in the last 24 hours one is completely gone and the other shows a white page with the message

database maintenance in progress.

This information is NOW confirmed and has been approved by the site admin for posting.

Yesterday(31 Mar 2009), lawyers and Private Investigators working for B E L L Ex Press conducted a "series" of raids, on the Digital Stores, (they are the Canadian Distributor/importer for nFusion). The raid at the Newmarket store was observed by eyewitnesses last evening at approx 8:30 PM.

It was observed that documents, equipment, and other items were removed from the premises by the investigators.

nFusion has been VERY vocal about their "card sharing" work around of the NAG 3 system, and this no doubt led to these raids, and subsequent seizures.

So it is Rookies position that ALL nFusion users should be aware of these raids and take the "appropriate measures" to ensure your privacy and security.

We will NOT permit any discussion of this as there will no doubt be questions asked which would violate our site RULE # 1, but it important that the end user have this information and also are made aware of where, and WHO conducted this raids.

Remember there is NOTHING illegal about using your nFusion for it's INTENDED purpose, TRUE FTA, but you will, (and should), load ONLY the factory file onto your unit as per the manufacturer's recommendation.

As more info comes to light we will as always ensure our members are notified and kept abreast of the issues.

Better to be safe than sorry.

Of course it would also NOT be a good idea to place ANY orders for nFusion products at this time, (especially through the website where YOUR info will be recorded), until things are straightened out.
