Coolsat 5000 and possibly 6000 news

Coolsat 5000 and possibly 6000 news

Coolsat 5000 and possibly 6000 owners don't trade those boxes in quite yet if you were even thinking of that. There is a possible file being introduced for the 5000 and possibly the 6000 that will enable you to use your boxes with an emulator or Atmega card. This is more than a rumor and since the Atmegas have been up and running with a better track record than Coolsat support it won't be like dealing with them. I understand that the file is being completed and a web address will be set up for those who are initially interested to log a hit on or some type of simple vote. The response will impact the way the files will be issued. All that part is a little up in the air right now but as for the actual possibility it is a go. I am not proficient enough in code to accomplish this task, I can hack around some things but if I were I would have tackled something like this long ago. The thing is the receivers work very well and are of good quality. When the company support was good everything was great. Apparently they must treat their employees like their customers and everyone good quit. Or who knows why their support and their work has slipped to such a mess. More news to come soon. Keep looking for the site address it will be the sign that you should act upon if interested.

well that could be good news for the guys with these boxes.this is if they have card readers in them already if not means one would have to add a card reader to use this file, but either way sounds like might be some hope for those boxes that someone is willing to step up.
