I just don't like to get even sicker, because i've heard that many people are getting sicker every time they get a regular flu shot, and who knows what the side effects could show if they get this vaccine I guess it depends how healthy you are. I guess only the stats will show after this flu season is over.

If most if not all of the world's population is vaccinated then there is no reason for me to get it since there will be no carriers of the flu left ( no sick people due to vaccination, no flu carriers).

It really isn't a case of wanting to get it here in Canada. There is the usual queue of important people that need to get it first:

Health care, police and fire services, gov't officials, the rich, the elderly and believe it or not, I heard even handicapped people get it first. What exactly qualifies one as handicapped? Wheelchair bound? A limp? Sore throat? Who knows. All I know is we make the vaccine in Canada but it still isn't available here. I guess we're shipping the first vaccines to Africa and other depressed areas to sustain them through this crisis before we get it. Anyone know for sure where our vaccines went?

It went to China, So it could be sold to us here in the US at a cheap price, ha ha ha....

That's good. But I think only Chinese made goods are sold dirt cheap in the USA. With the Canadian dollar catching up to the Yankee buck maybe Canada will actually be able to buy back their own vaccines. Does Wal Mart sell flu vaccines? LOL.

I am recovering from Guillian Barre Syndrome for a year now a devastating illness
and by having this vaccine you are at risk .People have contrated this in the past from regular flu shots.Your are taking a hige risk for many other possible illnesses.I have read that in Australia they are not recommended the H1N1 vaccine because it is not much more dangerous then the average flu for most of the population.
