AMD was , is , and WILL ALL WAYS be the one . !!! that is where Intel gets it starts for new chips from ........ As for the Xeron that is a server chip .

have intel now, amd all the way, ,..
after reading what intel did in he united nations... to brive the OEM, dell, hp compaq and others companies telling then that they will pull their product off their hands if they bought amd product....
really dirty way of making business..
4 years like that could sink any company, i wonder how amd survive from 2003 o now..

cannot argue for the time that Intel is fastest....

but AMD was for many years faster than Intel.......

the beauty of building with an AMD based board is that you can upgrade a lot more than with Intel boards...a new processor usually means a new motherboard when your building with Intel.....(although rumour has it that Intel will try to change that..)

i prefer building with AMD...although if Intel was going down the tubes id start purchasing their products......

the purpose of that is to promote competition...id hate to see either of them fail...

as long as they are at war with each other, we will reek the benefits of both...
