i downloaded your first link . opened the loader , but there are a lot of files listed . not sure what to run . oops . any file will do?

Yes anyone of them just click on boot only on loader when loading the boot file

i got the loader , and chose the first one , put it in the loader . boot file is marked . i try to download , but it does nothing .

Is your receiver show (ON) and check your port setting com 1, 2, 3 or 4

i just checked the com setting , and it's fine . the word "on" is lit . do i need to run boot 60 first ?

i get flash update fail message

No if your box shows (ON) or channel, you loader the boot_file first

on is lit . no channel since it was jtagged back to life , do i have to load a factory file first ?

i am going to hook it up to the tv , and try a factory reset .

No factory file, just show (ON) click on boot_file only on loader and hit write
