I currently have a viewsat plat lite with a hacked Tivo. I really like the viewsat box. From the time I download new bins to my PC, it is 90 seconds until I am rockin 'n' rollin. I also have a pansat 2500 on a Tivo I cannot hack. I would like to replace this Pansat box with a newer (faster) box. I hated updating this thing, I had to upload bins and then key in default keys (would never just autoroll on its own). It was much more of a hassle than the viewsat.

If I got a Pansat 3500 would the update process be more like the viewsat or is it just a process with all Pansats?
