Try to use the RS-232 cable to force download it, use the factory file first then the latest file hope it will help you...º¿º...

That is what you get when you load the new bin file, 0000 on the display and no blue light, since there are no channels scanned yet in your new box. Go to Menu-Installation and set up your sats and scan. Put it on channel 200 and wait a few.

If you think you messed it up load the latest factory file, reboot, and load the 153.1 file. Set the sats and scan.

No, the first time you can load it with Webloader or the cable. Webloader is much easier.

I took mine out of the box, used webloader, set my user and system settings, set-up and scanned sats, Worked great the first time, Set up is just like Nova, except for webloader, I just fac, reset, You get 0000, until you set settings, and scan, It is very easy, and very fast

No that is preloaded when you got it. If, down the road, your box has problems and acts up you can load it and then the bin file. Just load the unzipped 153.1 bin, set your sats up, scan them as you set them up, and put it on channel 200 and wait.
