New files are posted at the kbox webpage. If someone could capture the instructions as they cross the screen and post them here I think it would help a lot of us. One question, there is a new khub file also, but the instructions for the new box file say that it won't be necessary to install the khub files any more. So do we install the new khub file or not? If we do install it should it be done first or last?

Ok, captured the instructions:

Kbox Khub Latest Files Version 211 for K-Box Heros Plus and K-Box Prodigy...
- Fixed rebooting problem in NETWORK SETTINGS MENU
- Receiver will now automatically ACTIVATE or RE-ACTIVATE the KHUB if necessary (Wait about 15 seconds for activation to begin. The activation process takes about 30 seconds)
- It's no longer necessary to use KHUB.rom or any Activation programs
- Additional updates from K1 PRO/K1 PLUS version 210: ...New Loading Procedure...
- Load Latest firmware version 211
- Perform FACTORY DEFAULT (Menu > Configuration > System Recovery > Factory Set)
- Rescan channels - Power OFF then power ON both receiver and KHUB ...NEW Feaures...
- Auto TP improvements - Special events channels (ie. sports) can be scanned/re-scanned anytime
- KHUB activation status check: "KHUB is not activated" message
- New Default mode is NETWORK (after factory setting receiver)
- Recording "Red Dot" indicator toggle on/off (Menu > Configuration > UI Settings) added
- Channel Rename function added - Channel Long/Short name toggle added

Has anyone put these files on their box? If I knew whether the khub file is to be installed and in what order, I would try it. So what's up with the new files, no one seems to have an answer.

FIXES and IMPROVEMENTS

No need to activate Khub for new user anymore
as long as file v210 or above is loaded on unit

Newest file v211 works good - all should load it up

Thanks for the harsh comment; but the question was whether the new khub file needed to be installed or just the new stb file. That question still has not been answered; but that's ok, I'll muddle through on my own rather than be chastised by you. So if a moderator would please close this thread I would appreciate it.
