Anybody out there have a homesat that works. any older files working or is it best used for an anchor

I have a Homesat V6. Bought it 3 weeks ago 5 days after the last fix. Everything works on the receiver. Yes I get the few FTA channels but of course no working channels from the last 11647f bin from 02-07-2008.

My question is I just cant seem to enter new keys manually and It states it will not accept any lower versions. Hard boot, soft boot, reinstall, nothing seems to change my ability to manually change keys nor can I remove the last bin.

Is there anything wrong with my homesat or is this just the way it is and there is not new updates available due to it being compatible with the ariza extreme! One would think the guys who left ARIZA would want their Homesat to be promoted?

Anyway please if some one can assist with my questions I would surely appreciate it. I just want to know if there is anything I might still do to get manual keys? Older bins I have read do say punch in 8282 or 1234 but none of these work on my homesat.

you will not be able to change keys it will not bring your tv back i am not sure about that type of box why you can not enter keys manually but if you do it will not help you it is not an key issue any more this is a new system of new ECM's this is the big problem

my help is for education only...

i own a homesat reciever and can,t get any files to load at all,i got it pointed at a bird and pick up the ad channels that are unscrambeled but can,t seem to get files to load,also would like to find a way to manually load the keys
