How can you find out whos on the other line, anyone know?

If you mean while you're on the phone already and some one else calls at the same time, then there is no way to find out that I know of.

As far as I can see depending on the equipment in your suppliers Central office you should be able to subscribe to visual call waiting. this enables one to see who is calling while you are on another call and then you can decide whether you want to answer it or not.
Call your local telephone company to see if this is available.
