During this Down time there is a few things that you can do while waiting on any new N3 files

1. you can learn more about the stb are stbs that you have by going thru your stb section in the forum and reading up on your stb find out more about it even during down times there still a few things that you can do
such as
recheck your cables make sure they are not craked are pinched in any areas of the cables
recheck your switch if you are useing any make sure its working good just becuase there isnt any tv you can still check your signal stregnth to make sure its at its highest setting
also you can check your lnbs as well
if you have low ''Q'' than you can adjust your dish to get the ''Q'' back to the highest you can get it

note:: anytime that you mess with your lnb are switch removing are replacing alwys turn the stb off in the back that way you will not burn up your switch without you knowing that you did

2. Overtime wind will move your dish and get your dish out of the way you had it set now would be a good time to recheck and reaim your dish to make sure its back to the right place you had it b4

3. Now would be a good time to reset your stb to fact defualt and rescan all your sats again even tho there isnt no tv (N2) channels you still have signal to rescan and get the fresh list of transponders and might see new channels are some channels been removed

these are just a few things you can do is read up on whatever stb you may have and learn more about it as well so when we do get new N3 files than you would be set to load and go so to say

are you can try True Free To Air
All stbs are made for this
All you need is a 33'' dish,motor,and a linear lnb to get these channels from alot of sats
lyngsat.com will help you with what sat and what is on all different sats

Its always good to keep up on your stb that way the more you read up on your stb the more you will know
