I have a brand new Lifetima Ultra and I need help on this key entering
i'm following instructions on the tutorial but no success.
On the remote I pressed MENU and screen USER SET Up appears
when I press right arrow twice a second screen appears and says CHANNEL EDIT and nothing about code or password to enter.
Need some advice can someone please help.

If you haven't converted to 2700

menu, Parental Control, press ok and go to Second Pin inter pin code 1668

Then go to N2, and what ever Provider you are using. You will see the keys,


Good luck no FLU is working all channels gone to N3 in North America




Now if your FLU been converted to 2700 all you do is press 8282 on remote and you are there

Stevega thanks for the reply i have not converted the unit at all, when I go parent control it asks me for a) OLd Pin #
b) New Pin
c) Confirm pin

It does not let me slide into new pin until I enter old pin 1st,when I enter1668 in the new pin,it then asks me to confirm it I do that and it bounces back up to old pin
This thing is driving me nuts,i'm probably doing something wrong but it seems i tried everything.
Any suggestions? Thank's

parental control then push up once .........second pin....enter 0000 or 1668

First menu, Parental Control, press ok and go to Second Pin Enter pin code 1668 and you are and you got to have Parental Control Unless you don't have a fortec lifetime ultra, Try to go to system info and see what you got

I agree with stevega. You might wanna scroll down to the bottem of the list in the parental controls and put in old password (0000). Don't try to change it using the first 2 lines which are old and new passwords per say. Doesn't matter anyway for now. Still gotta wait.
