Can't Load V214 Bin

I am on V208_V3 and can't get my STB to load via serial port using BL 1.4 or any other loader I have on hand. the P.U.F.F.P.U.F.F. cycles so quickly that the system is booted to on before the loader starts downloading.

I am doing what I always have done by turning of the unit and hitting download as the power comes back on. I hope someone can tell me what I am doing wrong because I am stumped.

power the receiver on, when you see the first P HIT download...
It should work if not then you need to set your com port to either 1,2,3 or 4... But make sure you HIT Download on the first P.
