is this fix up or down? put in yesterday for friend and no tv?

It's still up as far as in know joey913! Have you done a reboot and then reset the default key after you hit 8282 on your remote?

Just came back and turned on tube - was working. Flipped a couple of channels and settled on one; after a couple of minutes it froze. My STB was on all the time so I would have assumed it would have froze earlier and just shown the freeze when I turned on the tube.

Any ideas why this happened this way (has happened a couple of time before in the last several years)?
