in trying to help a neighbor , i went too fast. i have a pansat 3000 [ 2700 clone ] . it was converted to puff , but not lzma. an lzma file [ latest was loaded on it . now all i get is p u f f twice , when powering on , pauses on f like normal , then powers off , and repeats the cycle forever. i know there's an answer . any help would be welcome.

try this or u can reload an older file that was in the box b4 you got this problem

putting on v206 did the trick to stop it from restarting , and now , it stays on f . what would be the next step ? remember , i have no dots yet on the p u f f .

than reload the current file

reset the keys and turn off AR and wait for the keys to roll

You need to do the 1.03 conversion to P.U.F.F...P.U.F.F. and then load the latest LZMA file to it.

than after you have converted

press menu
system info
and should say LZMA to confirm if not you still have PUFF

but if done right than just load the current file

yes , i see all the steps to convert to lzma , but , the receiver is stuck on the last "F"
and will not go to "on " , where i must start. how do i get the " F " [ almost said f too ! ] to go to "on" ?

yes thanks. i did manage to load v206 , and it stopped the repeating of p u f f x 2 . now it is solid on the last f . it will not go to on or a channel . if i try to load 1.0.3 , it goes back to cycling p u f f , blacks out and redoes all over again . that's where i am hung up. time for a rest , and a fresh look. i have done and redone all the steps . sorry , to be so long in the tooth .

when u load the boot file the stb has to be already on than dl it while it is on

than after turn off and load as you normally do
