I'll admit I haven't done this since about apr/may but trying to help out a friend with a fortec. loaded latest file seemed to take ok but, display on box flashes PUFF. then pauses on F. for a few seconds then continues to flash PUFF. I reloaded it twice in case it was a bad flash. I have also waited at least 10 min just in case as I remember there was always some delay (2min+) on the reboot. am I missing something obvious or has the PUFF format changed since may?

Do you know what bin is in the box, do a reboot and when it flash puff see if there is a (dot) after the (F.) if so it's lmza_puff bin

loaded 257t now reboots eventually to on, I will now reload 297 and see what happens

No you don't load the puff_295 read what it says after you load the lzma_puff_257 and showing (on)

297 still not working keeps repeating PUFF but never boots to on. I will try re-downloading 297 from site mabey somehow corrupted
