I put in jvvh_211_pwTd.bin fix on 2500 and bev back-up. Only thing is, there is no more Key 01...I could only enter keys in 00....is this normal??

I laso have a 3000 which was a clone of 2500. I installed the first fix j27_205_1.bin and in error did not let it boot up completely before continuing...so i cancelled the download of 211 and rebooted it to install properly....now no more knight rider lights....can anyone help !!!!

On your 2500 get the 213 bin and put it right over the 211..
as for the 3000 and was a cloan, and ya get no more lights.. you'll Have to jtag that one..

Do you have a Radio Shack nearby? Can you solder?

If so, you can make one, No need for the resistors, it works fine without them.

You can also permanently mount the female db25 connector to the back of your receiver, cut a slot for it with a dremel cutoff wheel, then use a spare IDE ribbon cable and cut the connectors, then count over 5 wires and seperate it from the rest of the ribbon, then solder direct to the pins on the reveivers jtag header, then solder to the db 25 connector and your done. You will now have a permanent rear mount jtag connection.

i have a radio-shack and i have soldered jtags befor...the old dn receivers....can you send me more simplified instructions on how to build and where to solder?

look here for some pics on where to solder.. as for the building the jtag, do a quick search
