fortec lifetime ultra
fortec lifetime ultra help guide It's a good idea to delete any previous channel lists, favorites, sats and then redo your setup from scratch including scanIf still no channels: - make sure correct sat, switch settings are selected - do a channel scan - make sure your signal/quality levels are good (60+) - try loading a channel list - try a "factory default" reset - read, read, read..... hope this helped, 1) Turn Ultra off from master switch -- in back of unit 2) Plug in a straight through 9-Pin RS232 serial cable, (NOT null modem - I'm using a standard rs232 cable w/gender changer) 3) Turn on unit w/ master switch 4) Power off w/ front panel power button - clock will be displayed 5) start Downloading Tool v1.31.exe (com1/115200) (or fav prog) 6) In "model" box type: LTA 7) Browse for "boot_Lifetime Ultra_ver60_040515.bin" (boot file ver6) 8) Select "boot" (radio button) 9) press send 10) wait for complete message box! - IMPORTANT - Now for the actual bin file: 11) leave all as is except change "model" box type to: Al7bar FTA Ultra 12) FTA Ultra_040823_244_api(NTSC).bin" (flash file) 13) Select "Appz" (radio button) 14) press send 15) wait for complete message box! click ok and your done... ........JRPCA Last edited by Jr; 24th December 2006 at 06:33 AM. |
