Cheesy broiled potato slices
4 baking potatoes
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
2/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. dried chopped chives (optional)
Line baking sheet with foil, lightly grease. Cut potatoes lengthwise into 1/4 inch thick slices.
In bowl, combine butter and garlic. Brush cut potatoes with mixture and place on baking sheet. Broil 4 inches from heat 8 minutes, turn over until tender. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil 1-2 minutes until melted. Top with chives. Serves 6.
