Step by Step Guide

Step by Step Guide for MyTheater on DVB Vision PCI
1. Download My Theatre and install to C:\Program Files\MyTheatre
2. Create two folders in the C:\Program Files\MyTheatre directory called MDPlugins and Plugins.
3. Now, download MDWrapper126c and put its files in the Plugins folder that you just created.
4. Download MDFaust-1.8 and MDYankse XP (or MDYnkse 98) and put those files in the MDPlugins folder that you just recently created.
5. Make sure that you when you open the Plugins or MDPlugins folder that you see the files, and not just a folder as they won’t work that way.
6. Download Softcam and put it in the MDPlugins folder.
7. Download MyTheatreAddons1.2 and INSTALL it.

Once that is done we are ready to open My Theatre.

8. Open My Theatre
9. Right click the large blank screen where the video would appear, and then select Settings -> LNB/Diseq Settings & Scan. A window should pop up.
10. Make sure you have your satellite hooked up to the LNB IN port on your PCI card.
11. Find the satellite you have your satellite pointed at on the left side and double click it.
12. Select Ku-Cir on the bottom left.
13. Change the following to...

LOF 1 = 11250000
SW = 0
LOF 2 = 11250000

14. Hit apply right beside C-Band.
15. Now, select Sel All on the bottom right and then hit scan.
16. Wait for scanning to complete.
17. Once done scanning, close the LNB window so that your back to having just My Theatre up.
18. On the top right there should be 6 buttons you can choose, select Satellite and then open the drop down list of the satellite you just scanned and you should see a list of all the channels you just scanned.
19. Double click a channel (doesn’t matter if it is red or not).
20. Right click it, there should be at least one Audio PID. Select the first from the list. There should now be a checkmark beside it.
21. Now, right click that channel again and this time hit properties. Under ECM click and highlight the first Nagra Digital under AUTO. Now hit the - sign to delete it. Hit apply and close that window.
22. If video doesn’t turn on right now, right click and double check that the first Audio PID is selected.
23. If video still doesn’t work, right click where the video would appear, go to Settings -> Graphs -> and then click the bottom one.
24. Right click the video screen yet again, go to Display -> and turn on Video.
25. If video is still not working, go to Settings -> Graphs and then choose a different graph (try the one above the one that is selected, keep changing until video turns on)

all of that info is so yesterday, I mean, I was doing that stuff in 2004 and 2005.
It is so much easier to download dvbdream v1.4h or newer - which is free by the way, from h**p://dvbdream.org
Than download emunation 3.0.0.9 and add it to *:\dvbdream\plugins\pipoo directory. Then start the program.

it is a good ideal to get software mpeg2 decoders, if your PCI card does not have a mpeg2 hardware chip onboard.
