DVB Dream How To



More and more peeps wonder about the DVBDream, this guide was created to ease up the process for U.
1st make sure Your DVB cards drivers installed. (U can check it by going in device manager. For PCI cards look under Network Adapters. U should see U'r card there. For USB look in Universal Serial Bus Controller, U should see it here).
2nd download and install latest dvbdream. U can get it from hxxp://dvbdream.org.
3rd download latest emunation. Unzip it. Copy pthreadVC2.dll file to dvbdream main folder. Copy the content of plugins folder to dvbdream/plugins/pip00 folder.4th download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) from: hxxp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=200B2FD9-AE1A-4A14-984D-389C36F85647&displaylang=en
5th download dvbepg Unzip it and put all in dvbdream/modules folder
6th start dvbepg, setup Your diseqc, scan, wait for roll
you will also need to install video and audio codecs;
In the top row of the main window you will see Options; click and in the drop down click on Video, that will get you into the codec window. You will have to experiment a little with codec combos. Also you will see video renderer, which can be changed in conjunction with codecs. try a few setting until you get good picture and sound. GOOD LUCK
