Yes, load 8.05 as boot, then 1.18 as s/w, set your disecq,if used, then scan your sat(s), then set you IP to auto and push apply. Go to a known working channel and register your dongle. Both these last 2 item can be found under Network settings.....Hope this helps.....

thank for your response i tried to update mv 0803 to mv 0805 via usb but receiver not responding to remote and it won't download the lastest bin file. any idea where is the problem thanks

Try rebooting from back switch with usb stick in,

i did tried several times and the result is the same the receiver is not responding to remote. i scroll up to files 1.18 and pressed ok and this is what i read on the screen Select upgrade mode s/w version s/w with all data bootloader press ok to upgrade factory bin that message does not appear on the screen and i noticed a blinking green light on top of a red light on the front panel when i pressed OK i am just wondering if the receiver is defective or not. thanks again for your response.

Go into the file section for cona 2 and follow instructions for the setup and it should work perfectly, I did this last week and it set up and ran within 15 minutes and going great ever since

thanks guys heartbeat 454 and johnsmith that is the guideline i am following, but the problem is, it won load the latest factory bin on bootloader mode. receiver is not responding to remote when i press ok

Is the remote working at any other time?? Is the 8.05 file unzipped??
