Boot freeze fix!



Open up the recever and see if a wire has been soldered to one end of R31 on the board near the TSOP, If so remove one end of this wire.
Boot sector is write protected when this wire is attached, probably some tech put it there when some recevers were being killed.
This was to prevent an ECM from killing the recevers due to a fictitious file floating around!

P.S.
After the recever comes on turn off the recever and you may reatach the wire and the recever will continue to function.
The boot has been alterd in the new 0404 file whitch is why it freezes, because it can't finnish writing the file while the boot is protected!
