Th cardshare app for Captiveworks was not written by CW,it was written by r_c the Linux coder at the request of some members of his site.
A lot of these guys have private servers that they share with family and friends,and it is cheaper and easier to use CW's than Dreambox's.The pay server guys jumped on this as it opened up a whole new bunch of clients.
IMO this software should have never been posted on public sites,it's just confusing people.
