you have to know someone that has a private server already setup or you'll have to get one setup yourself thru a card sharing site but beware of these sites;you never know who is running them.JMO

read up on iks in the diccusion area for captive works there lots of stuff you can learn just go back about 3 weeks or so and it will give you break down

Plus the fact that those that talked about the private servers were going to charge to access that server. You would be far better off to buy a new IKS box if you want to go this direction. A private server will have to depend on paying customers to keep going if the number of customers slows down.............

If you use real private server (not a paid public server) cost of new iks box can cover 2+ years of watching tv on your captiveworks.And is far more safeer than any iks

Thats true But the biggest disadvantage is to havea rs232 cable hooked up with the computer and running it ... i have set it up trust me better of buying a new box .less time consuming and less hassle and best iks unit out there that i find best for both provider is Nfusion solaris .
