when it saids amazona fix does these means i need a special sat to get this chanels

and how many chanes do i get

1. Telefonica is a provider just like DN and BEV .
2. The satellite is aimed mostly at South America.
3. 61W, Amazonas is the satellite that carries the programming.
4. You need a linear LNB to receive this satellite.
5. If you are farther north than say Puerto Rico, more than likely you can't get the signal.
6. They are running on Nagravision 2 encryption at the moment.
7. Only a few receivers work with this satellite.
8. The programming is in Spanish and Portuguese.
